Bruce,
I just today had a new set of slicks installed in my coupe. The wiring
harness terminated in plain straight fittings. No elbows. By the way, I
paid 777.00
for the mags and the harness. The gears were removed from my Eismanns and
were a perfect fit. No spacers or extra gears. Tseted and flown this
afternoon and I got a real 2200 rpm static . Before it was 2000. not good.

By the way, The maintenance manager in out FASA bldg is writing for me
the
real scoop on just what is legal as far as the FAA is concerned concerning

static RPM. This allows for prop pitch, non standard weather, and other
variables.
As soon as I get it, I will share it with the group.

I will send more info on the Slicks for anyone interested. I don't want
to
advertise for anyone on the net...
