Midwest Coupers,
August 19th, Bill and Nancy Nagle are holding their annual fly-in at their
hangar/home at Newman's Fld. just west of Kalamazoo, MI. (4N0). Many of
you will remember Bill and Nancy from EOC and other fly-ins. They own
four
(yes 4!!) beautiful coupes as well as the last Meyers 200D to come out of
the original factory (before the rights were sold) and a Knight Twister
biplane. Newman's uses 122.9 and is ~3000 ft. of wide, smooth grass,
18/36. Bill always asks you make a fly-by either on arrival or departure,
bring a dish to pass or make a donation, -- meat (cook out), and drinks
are
provided. This is one of the most friendly, relaxed, informal fly-ins,
you
will ever go to! There is usually a wide variety of planes, including
coupes, antiques, Meyers, helicopters and sometimes a warbird or two.
There
is a lot of flying activity through-out. Bill is hoping for more Coupes
than Cessnas!! Stop in for a short while or spend the afternoon.
