I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and inspiration for the trip. If Gene had not challenged us all to make a 2K trip this year followed by Ed's recap of his trip in the 80's, I would not have thought of the idea. Tom and Ken's idea of posting daily reports just made it more fun. After many of you volunteered information and offered help, I knew we could do it. (After spending over 4 hours behind the weedeater trying to catch up, I wish we were still on the trip!) A special thanks goes to Ken and Lois, as well as Warren and Marsha for putting Joel and I up for a few days and letting me drive one of their vehicles. I hope those of you that I did not meet or talk to enjoyed following us and are planning their own special trip soon. Please fly safe and be well.
