Went to EAA Arlington, and the Ercoupe and varient types are finally getting respect. Arriving as a flight of 5 has its rewards. I would like to commend our Flight Leader Maynard (Straight Line) Smith and my fellow wingpersons Dick, Steve and Don. We anchored a very good display area, and got the parking persons to authorize us to assist an interloping Cessna to a new camping ground.
We ended up with `coupers from Canada to California. Steve was from West LA, and Larry in C-FALN was from Victoria, British Columbia. Washington State was represented by Steve (93788) and Richard (2545H). Special mention to Ron and Bethany in their "Cherocoupe." The Ercoupe Fanciers Gathering had over 20 persons at Porky's. Most of the "bikers" seemed to be missing this year. Scared off? Every one had an excellent time, including Meg, a member of the press. Special thanks to Bob, the Oregon Wing Leader, for coming up, and sincerest appreciation to every one who partook. The ones who show up at these functions just have more fun!
