Hello Couperland, I had my new Altimeter installed and I'm still waiting for the Encoder to show up I noticed that my Altimeter,Encoder,and Vert speed all use the cabin as the static behind the panel.This was the way my CEssna 140 was too Do all of you have it this way ? next time you fly take a look see how it's hooked up. Seems to me some said that it was plumbed to the pitot is it more accurate one way over the other?? The Cessna had problems with the Pitot setup but as I recall worked well in the cabin,.
