Joe; I trailered an Ercoupe from Miami to Frostproof last spring with absolutely no problems. I used a 21 foot boat trailer, so I had minimal overhang. But I did remove the wings and put them under the fuselage. I would recommend using two padded boards to fasten on either side of one of the rudders. That will keep them from moving. The Coupe that I trailered had the controls frozen from sitting for 8 years, and I could see from the external corrosion that a little additional damage would not really matter. (They ride just fine, however) This was the third time that I had trailered a Coupe, and they actually go pretty darn good. Lynn Nelsen N99387 52FL
