If it is the wing that is twisted with no center section trouble, then you can pick up a set surprisingly cheaply and put them on there. There are at least two guys in TradeaPlane selling coupe wings lately. Make sure they have the holes on the bottom and are not seriously corroded! I have come to the conclusion that if you buy an Ercoupe, you have about a 50/50 chance of having to spend at least $5,000 to get it airworthy! I nearly sold mine it was so depressing, but once you get it right, you are going to be very pleased, as a good Ercoupe is about as cheap as an ultralight to run and 10 times better. They will go many, many hours between breakdowns. Hang in there. Glen Ward
