Hey there all ,I got a chance to go flying yesterday with another couper
we
both took off from 06c - Schaumburg and flew down for lunch to Morris
here
in ILL just about 1/2 hr or so it was beauuuuuutiful out I could have
flown all day.Had a nice lunch and lazily flew around - to get back wasn't
a priority but non the less I came back.Savor these days they are the
greatest.Severe clear is fun not a bump around.I figured my fuel burn
average too while I was at it it came real close to 6 gals /hr 5.8 or so
is this about what you all are burning? I really dont lean alot I don't
really get to density altitude of 5000'
all that often I generally run 2275 -2300 at cruise with a 48 pitch
that's pretty much full bore. I use some TCP every other top off I use
the
marvel (MMO) every fuel ing I'm of the opinion that MMO helps keep the
carb
lubed and float unstuck and couldn't hurt the valve guides and the lead
build up department either.so far so good fingers crossed!!!!!!!
