I am also looking at completing a conversion that was started by one of the previous owners. The only remaining part of the conversion is the installation of the Stainless Steel over the header tank. Since this tank is no longer installed in my aircraft I feel that some of the hard work has been done for me. (Please recall that the tank was stolen) The question I am posing is this. Since I am replacing the instrument panel any way; why couldn't I extend the Stainless piece from the firewall to the instrument panel? I am also wondering which panel to purchase? Do I purchase the one from Univair or do I purchase the one from Skyport? Any thoughts or suggestions on these subjects?
