----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I would caution everyone to not trust that a W&B value that is calculated by adding and subtracting items from the 1946 weight is too accurate. When I had my airplane weighed shortly after I got it it was about 50 lbs higher than the calculated weight.
But I certianly agree with g w that lighter is better. I have seen some tricked out 'Coupes that I suspect were over gross weight without a pilot!
