----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I have the 35 amp gen. in my Coupe. A while back I replaced my regulator thinking it had gone bad. Lee at Skyport informed me that you have to have the correct regulator for the generator output. I bought the new one, installed it, and then found out what I needed was a wire reconnected to the master fuse holder. It'd been knocked off by the radio repairman. So, yes you need the correct regulator, and, I have a good used one, or if you prefer, the new one, as both work and you can have your choice. Make me an offer.
