Craig; There should be very little play between the inner and out nose
strut. 
Most of the play can be removed by replacing the brass bushing in the
bottom. 
Unfortunately, they cost $100 each. The wear is always in the fore and aft

direction. I have heard that it may be possible to turn the bushing 90 
degrees (and tap new holes for the screws to hold it in) which solves the 
fore and aft play.
Has anyone else tried the 90n degree rotation trick?
