----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Wire guage is determined by the protection device upcurrent of the wire. A good A&P book will list the wire size required based on the protection device (fuse or CB). From memory the GE94 or 93 position lights are about 1 AMP each so a 5 or 7 amp protection device is about right (I have not been able to find out the rating on the original Ercoupe nav light switch/circuit breaker in my airplane). You then look up (sorry this information in is the hangar) the breaker and the wire size will be shown. The idea is that the wire should not burst into flame before the breaker trips.

What gauge wire should I use? __________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from this list please send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ___________________________________________________________ T O P I C A The Email You Want. http://www.topica.com/t/16 Newsletters, Tips and Discussions on Your Favorite Topics
