----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Thanks Chuck, It's a lot of work and expense to put one of these together, but when it's appriciated it makes it all worth while. I haven't talked with Mary since this morning so I don't know if she had any luck finding a gear leg today or not. In her e-mail from last night she said that if she could get hold of Larry and if he had one on hand, Dave was going to fly up and get it for her so Darren could start working on it right away. Yes, you're right, she did everything 'right'. But as she said yesterday, it couldn't have happened at a better place. After all her stops between here and Oshkosh and since she's been back and then yesterday when she and Georgia landed at Eugene to adjust her canopy, it could have happened there. Wow, what luck that lady has that if happened on a grass strip and after she'd slowed down quite a bit on her rollout. I guess "Merry Wings" just got tired and dropped her wing down to rest over in the tall grass with all the pheasants. I hope you get your chores done so you can 'fly the coupe' to join us again in October. I haven't decided yet where to go next month, any ideas? We can't have our winter 'drive-ins to Cottage Grove any more as the Korean (I think) Company that bought the Village Green decided to close the restaurant. Maybe either Albany or Salem. Thanks for coming yesterday, sorry I was so busy that I didn't get to talk with you a little more. Bob Claire wrote:
