I agree that their is a lot of antecdotal evidence to support the idea that MMO helps sticky valves. I stated that in the original "stickin [sic] valve" thread. If it does have a benefit, I look at it as a temporary fix, not a long term repair. I still say that for every stuck valve there is a correctable cause. To me it makes more sense to fix the problem rather than whitewash it in hopes it doesn't recur. BTW the "lubricant" properties of lead have to do primarily with the valve seating area, not the stem. Lead on the stem can only cause problems. A correctly clearanced guide tends to scrape the deposits off each time the valve closes. Too tight and it can stick, too loose and it doesn't scrape well enough. I'll crawl back now.
