Georgia, also consider picking up a copy of MS Flightsim 2000, if your computer is up to running it well. It isn't much help with the motor skills (IMHO) BUT the built-in Ron Machado lessons are worth-while. Most importantly, it will help you with your cross-country routine and keeping your attention moving around the cockpit. When I took a dozen-year break from flying and wanted to come back, I found FS very useful. I'd plan a flight just like I was really going to do it, and then do it, progressing to longer and longer cross-countries. I even had the sectional on my knee-board. I think it probably saved me about a thousand dollars in airplane/CFI time becoming proficient at navigation again. Greg Please start using [EMAIL PROTECTED] to get in touch with me.
