The only difference on mine between laying on the seat and it the panel is that I now have it hooked up on the bottom ride side, rather than on the hole on the back. Perhaps those are not all for suction. I have a bunch of tape over it because even in clear VFR conditions it can be surprisingly disorienting to look at that thing flopping around! Glen Ward
