Hi Folks, In July of last year, I stumbled upon the coupers list in my net search for information on a funny little airplane I had heard about. From my first timid questions about coupes and flying, continuing on the to the present, I have received warm support, encouragement, and invaluable information and advice. I have had the good fortune to meet some of you and I am looking forward to meeting more of you. I have had the opportunity to get to know a handful of you quite well and I consider you among my closest friends. I am grateful to every one of you for what you bring to the list and to me. I think you all are willing to help each other out with coupe and flying issues. I've seen so many examples of that. You help me so much and I feel like I have a large cheering section, rooting me on to get my PPL and eventually my own plane. Recently, a few individuals have gone to extraordinary efforts to further my flight training. You know who you are and you know what I'm talking about! Since I don't know who you are, I am have no choice but to express my deepest gratitude to you publicly. While I'm at it, I don't mind telling the whole group what a special bunch of people you all are. I am honored to be so readily accepted into your "brotherhood". BTW, I appreciate the teasing and the jokes too - Larry, et al. And Jack, I will learn (among all the other things) to expertly taxi that 172 if I have to spend a whole lesson taxiing around the airport.
