Hi Glen,
    Thanks for the update. Are you sure this is accurate information?  It
sounds like something that
could happen. The plane was there, they were curious, and it led to...
'Hey, I think we could fly this
thing, let's try it'.
    What a shame. It's bad enough that two 'potential future pilots' died,
but did they have to take a
coupe with them?      : - (
    Kinda reminds me of the first Ultralights that came into being. A
flying 'hamock' held together with
wires, tape, chewing gum and prayers.  Oh, and NO instruction. (Sorta like
my first experiment with
sky-diving, an umbrella from the roof of my aunts house. My first thought
was,  Oops, I don't think I'll
try that again!)
    Ever seen the movie "Those Magnificient Men and their Flying
Machines"?  The first Ultralight I ever
saw was one step backwards from the first planes shown in that movie. Of
course they've progressed a lot
since then, that was several decades ago.
