I just happened to pick up a Cessna magazine after the lesson. I inadvertently opened to an article which discussed the large number of accidents at airports related to sloppy, careless taxiing. The article said that many pilots don't put enough effort and and thought into it because they consider it so fundamental and easy. Maybe it is basic and easy, but I want to learn it well and do a good job. I feel the same way about taxiing that I do about all flying skills. I don't want to get to the "good enough" stage. I want to excell.
