A heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered advice and/or parts in dealing with my Oleo strut problem. Turns out it was just a bad seal, the second one held fluid just fine. I'm back in the air to continue my lessons, although the one today with a 15-gusting to 25 mph crosswind wasn't the most fun one that I've ever had. I am sooo happy that I ended up buying a coupe rather than a 150 or equivelant. I really love the airplane, but the support this group offers is priceless. Hopefully I will have my PPL in time to attend the Terrel, TX fly in and meet some of you.
