Jim, I have one in a shoebox upstairs that came off my coupe [75 hp]. The end bearing had spun in the end cap, and somebody's idea of rebuild was to wrap thin gasket material around the outside of bearing and press back into end cap bearing cup! My AP said too bad cuz the coil and all looked real good, since my ride was in his hangar and he was going to go on vacation.....I replaced with a Slick. This one would either need a new end cap, or a FAA approved method of rebuilding up lost metal in bearing cup.
