Joa,
I'd get the actual welts from either skyport or univair instead of
retro-fitting something else. They are pretty inexpensive $34.95/pair (part
number SMK23 from skyport). They are easy to install if you take the time to
clean all the old adhesive out after removing the old welts.

First remove the windows, then the seat bottom. This will allow access to
the lower part of the track. using a screwdriver you should be able to remove
enough of the old welt to get ahold of it and pull it out. Clean all the old
goop out of the track. For installing the new ones, I used 3M
weatherstripping adhesive (BLACK) available at NAPA. It's basically black
contact cement and works great. Take either an old scrap of Plexiglass or
wide ruler to help you "tamp" the new welt into the groove evenly. Reinstall
windows.
            Happy Flying~
