Coupers; I am installing a canvass baggage compartment in serial # 170. The Coupe had been apart for several years prior to coming into my possession, and none of the hardware for the baggage compartment was included with the project. My question concerns where the "lift the dot" studs go? There are two straps, one on each side, with a "lift the dot" grommet fastener installed, on the canvass baggage compartment. Where are the studs supposed to be located to fasten these grommets to? I can see holes on the bulkhead behind the baggage compartment, frame D. I can also see holes on the fuselage skin below the wing walk area. The straps will easily reach either of these points, and I need to know where to install the studs. I greatly appreciate your expertise in helping me with this.
