Hi Jack; Yes, I have it installed. It is hung with 5/8 inch wide (I
used
..050) strips behind the seat and under the hat shelf with # 4 sheet metal

screws. The hat shelf is fastened to frame D with screws which go through
the
canvass and 5/8 strip. The sides are hung from a small angle (I used 1/2 X

1/2 .060) which fastens to the seat back and to frame D under the hat
shelf.
There should be a sewn in loop all the way around the top of the canvass
which the strips and angles go into. I found a picture in the service
manual
which depicted the "lift the dot" post on the fuselage side behind the
battery compartment, so I put them in that way. It took me a while to
locate
the holes for the sheet metal screws using the original holes, but once I
had
that done, I put the metal strip inside of the canvass loop and put the
screws through it, then it was a piece of cake. I also found that Univair
has
lots of the original baggage compartment covers, so I have one on the way
to
finish the installation with. (less than $25)
Lynn
