----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I've been discussing medical issues with
several pilots lately. We have discussed monocular vision with contact
lenses; diabetes; and high blood pressure. The subject of migraine
headaches has now come up, but none of us knew whether or not this
would cause one to fail their medical examination. I've never seen
anything written on this issue. Are there "degrees" of migraines? Is
there medicine for migraines? Does it matter that the migraines do not
occur regularly? or that the pilot has notice of a pending migraine several
hours in advance? Has anyone had any experience with the "migraine VS
medical" issue? If so, or if anyone has a source of information I
would be interested in hearing from you.
Thanks,
Ken Doyle
