The folding wings came out of our Northern brother. (Canada) Was covered in Coupe Capers some years ago. Extra weight was a problem. Also a small trailer (easy to build ) is on our hosts web page (Ercoupers.com) also. Warren H

Subject: [COUPERS] coupe trailer and folding wing plans

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----
I recently acquired a set of plans for building a trailer for hauling a 'coupe, and I think that it is a pretty good design.  It also includes instructions about how to modify the plane so that the wings can be folded back and supported for transport.

The wing folding instructions are not as detailed as they might have been, but it shows a good method of doing it.

And, yes Glen, you can substitute tractor tires if you like.  Nobody will care.

It's only three pages, but a lot of info is packed into them.

If you are interested in getting a copy of these plans, throw ten bucks in an envelope and I'll send mail you a copy.
