   The inspection can be as little as disconnecting the turn buckles
inspect 
reattach, adjust and safety wire. Some filing if needed. A stop bolt
replace. 
etc.
    With four different Modifications Replacement is unlikely.
   Serv Bulletin # 26 is the killer unless you column is 415-52118 the dye

test. And every 5 years, but not many do. It is dated 1/12/79 don't find
an 
AD for it?
