Does anyone know of a remote spin-on oil filter adapter that can attach to the oil screen location on the RIGHT side of the case?
I don't want to lose my oil cooler, and the crappy Cessna adapter I have now has a recurring AD that involves removing the right mag and generator to take it out and check it for cracks. I have never liked the darn thing anyway, as it's in a terrible place that makes it really hard to get the filter off. It had some play in it when I changed my oil and the AD says it must be removed to be inspected any time it's loose. Apparently, this thing was installed in 1987 and not logged anywhere. I'll put the screen back in before I'll put up with this AD. The removal and inspection must be done any time it feels loose, so you can't just tighten the nut. The AD says it must be removed and inspected. Artie N2666H
