Now, you see, this is why the web may be the salvation of marques like the Ercoupe. I think it's fair to say that the 'Coupe's star was sinking until the list and the web sites brought the fur-flung types together and stirred up enthusiasm again.
Individually, we were a dwindling group of individuals flying wierd-ass little planes and occasionally letting them go to seed, maybe because of lack of a support system. There was very little way to generate new interest in the marque, and mentoring was hard to come by. Collectively, we can grow interest in 'Coupes. And it seems to be happening.
