It never ceases to amaze that Gates , et al , who developed all this which so many people take for granted and use daily with so much ease and so little trouble takes so much flak .
After all , Isn't his an American success story ? If he was an aviation entrepreneur who had deleloped an affordable , reliable , and easily maintained aircraft with great flight characteristics would we see the same reaction ? ( Does this sound like Fred W. and the Ercoupe ? ) -----Original Message----- From: Tom Laird-McConnell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Monday, August 23, 1999 4:48 PM Subject: RE: Gates! >His foundation is 19 billion (almost the size of the next 2 largest put >together.
