If you are wealthy enough to afford electric gyros consider getting a HSI and flight director setup. Coupes operated on a budget use vacuum instruments
powered by a venturi since without a heated pitot the venturi and the pitot ice up at the same time. Consider also using the old 5" instruments as they require less vacuum and are less fussy about the vacuum regulation. They are getting hard to find and repair but they work as well as the newer instruments. Bob Condon
