My husband is 6' 5" and checks in at 200 lbs.. we now own a Alon but did
own a
415C.

When we had the seats redone in the Alon the shope used the foam that is
used in
the space programs and the Rotan Planes.

The fiber glass seat was then ground down 1/4 " at the bottom, at the back
of
it. you can only shave about 1/4 to 3/8" off.. this allowed the seat when
bolted
back into position to tip the back of the seat and gave 1 1/2" for each
1/4 "
shaved off.. of extra leg room.

We regularly have the second seat filled and as a rule have our young
grandson
in the luggage compartment... often times there is a another pilot
weighing
about the same flying with the plane with no problems.
