Esteemed 'coupers --

Well, my 'coupe has made her way to Connecticut from Saskatchewan, and is
bedded down for the night at 3B9. As we had to re-register her in the US,

she is newly dubbed N161LH (161 is her serial number; I'm LH). She's a '66

Alon A2 with steel spring gear.

I want to thank you all for all your help and guidance during my search.
One of the big reasons I got hooked on 'coupes is the fierce loyalty of
their owners. I just don't know how I would have been able to do this
without you all.

Anyway, the fella I'm buying her from & I are going to fly a whole stupid
lot of time tomorrow -- I just hope I can manage to get some sleep! Now
you
watch out, New England 'coupers; I'm coming to visit soon...

So, the seller & his wife arrived at about 5:00, we settled 1LH down for
the
night then went to dinner. After I dropped them off at the B&B, I went
back
to the airport. It was about 8:30 and just twilight; a really classically

pretty New England summer evening here -- cool, a dead clear, pink around
the edges sky. I just sat on the wing walk for a while and watched planes

come in. Man, you're really lucky if you get a few moments like that in
life.

Thanks again, everybody.

Leslie, 3B9
