I noticed something kind of strange yesterday... when my engine was
cold the oil pressure jumped right up to 35-40 and stayed there rock
solid like it always did (no matter what RPM) but then when the
engine
got warm and I landed I noticed that the pressure would drop to about
25 when I cut the throttle to idle and then would go back up to 35
when I brought the rpms up to 1200 or so. I don't remember this
happening in the past, from what I recall the pressure stayed pretty
constant.
Any idears what might be causing this? Its making me pretty nervous.
To add to this it seems like my RPMs are down about 50-100 at cruise
and on climb-out.
On a brighter note I got my ticket last week!!!! Went up to Coeur
d'
Alene this weekend and took my first passenger- my dad! Also took my
grandma up later- they both loved it!
Hoping to make it to Arlington. Might end up driving though since my
8 month pregnant wife has one of her good friends getting married
Sat.
and the logistics of camping out or of finding a rental car / motel
plus getting to the wedding is making her a little nervous. In any
event I'll make sure to come by the Coupe area and give you all a
hello!
