Thank you all for your input. I would like to have these installed inside or not at all. Yes, I know 52WT is original but safety IS a factor too. Harnesses keep your face from being planted in the panel in case of rapid deceleration.
Also I got into some impressive turbulence the other day and am convinced that harnesses are the safest thing for me.
 I appreciate every ones input.
David Smoler said he is working on this too.  Maybe he could give us more input?
By the way, Happy 4th of July to all you coupers!

Subject: Re: M-10 harnesses

Mary: there are a couple of stc's out for this mod....however, one, in my opinion is miled ahead of the other....the one I am talking about is the one where all the hardware is INSIDE the fuse....not two big patches outside, and again in my opinion, these outside patches don't look very nice....I bevieve that skip garden has a copy of the stc. however I could be wrong.....I have it somewhere also, but with restoring another coupe that came in last night, it may be a "time" before I find it in this mess I call an affice...the coustomer wants a RUSH job, after waiting 5 yrs.....hummmm....btw, I've still got my 100hp ercoupe for sale here in aurora, or....One other thought on that pretty M-10...( I have been told this by others who have seen your bird).....you might want to keep it as close to the "stock" airplane as it came out....I wounder, if any tests have been run...(non destructive, engeneering type)...on how effective shoulder straps really are when put into an application that has not been designed for the application in the first place....A nice guy in the couper,s list Doug Davis, may be able to shed some light on this...his coupe has the outside "patches".....give him a look-up... good flying to you....jolly in aurora, or.

Good question Mary,I don't see any takers on this one.... I would like to see your answer myself...   I guess you are talking about adding shoulder harnesses as we now just have safety belts....   I sure hope it isn't the wiring harness.... I wouldn't wish that one on anyone... Does you M-10 have the optional back seat???WV Jim Palmer  M-10  N 9513V & 415C  N99906 -----l--0--l-----
Hi all, I have a M-10 and I would like to have harnesses installed. Does anyone know the ins and outs of how to do this? Who has the 337 and which harnesses are best? I would appreciate any and all information on this. Thanks.    MaryN52WT    Oregon
