I have owned 3736H for about 10 years now. She is a 415C, C85-12F, 7050 McCauley prop and no rudder peddles. My 'Coupe climbs very well compaired to others I have flown. It will deffinatly out climb a C150. I have had others tell me this so I'm not being prejudice, well maybe a little! The one thing that concerns me about the 'Coupe "is" the sink rate when you pull the power back. It would have been good if Erco and subsiquent companys had published good numbers for the critical speeds and distances for take off and landings for "all" models of the 'Coupe. In reading the list and hearing peoples comments one thing that is clear is that all of these planes fly and perform different. We would hope that being a certified plane that they would be very similar, but they are not. When reading these comments about take off distance, performance and turning back we should all factor in our own skills as a pilot and our own planes capabilities. I fly regularly into a grass field of about 1800ft that is filled with "Tail Draggers". Yes I get harrassed but they are amazed that I can do it with out slipping on final to lose the speed and altitude. I love my 'coupe!
