Anyone interested in what the Stafford model looks like, refer to the November 1996 issue of R.C.Modeler. I photographed the cover for that issue and I used my full scale Ercoupe and also my Stafford model. Interesting to note that I not only got paid for the cover photo but Stafford models gave me my choice of any model that they manufacture just for getting the free publicity...I was thinking about the B-24 but got smart and took the L-19 Bird Dog
My friend Nick Ziroli is building a scale Ercoupe for the R.C. Nationals and if anyone has information that will verify thet the Coupe was indeed a war bird, he would love to heatr from you.
