Joa, On my Alon, I can wedge a large styrofoam coffee cup right under the oil screen fitting that catches all the oil that comes out of the screen housing. That helps avoid most of the mess. Maybe you can find something similar that will work on your plane. I also use a hose on the oil drain fitting
and run it into the oil bucket. On a "good day" I can change the oil without spilling a drop. On a "bad day" things get a little messier! Also, a good shorty open end wrench (about 4 in. long) works well on the oil screen housing. A standard open end is too long to get in there. Regards, Wayne DelRossi N5618F Simpsonville SC
