I was out at Tradewinds airport in Amarillo polishing up the ol coupe
today
when a nice fellow named Ed Parrott from near Dallas stopped by. He said
he
was driving through town to meet his daughter somewhere in New Mexico
tomorrow, and noticed my coupe sitting on the ramp. We had a great visit
for
about an hour, (mostly about Ercoupes) and he said that he owned and flew
a
1946 model coupe out of NorthWest Regional airport near Dallas. If any of
you
coupers out there know Mr. Parrott, tell him hello for me, and that I
really
enjoyed our visit. He confirms my faith that when you are around Ercoupe
people, you are in good company. He was an extremely nice fellow.
