" For your information I have personal knowledge of the fact that the
Ercoupe
Model 415C, serial 110 was part of the Tally Out Sheet assigning certain
material to the Nebraska Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. My first knowledge
of
this airplane was when it was originally assigned to the Army Mechanics
Contract Training School operated by the Lincoln Airplane and Flying
School
of Lincoln,Neb. When this training was discontinued the aircraft was
transfered to the Aircraft Mechanic School located at the Army Air Base
Lincoln,Neb.
When the AM School at the Army airbase was deactivated this aircraft was
one
of a number of aircraft and component parts as stated before, assigned to
the
Nebraska Wing of the Civil AIr Patrol."

This is how our Government operated even back then !
Mr. M.M. Meyers, executive officer C.A.P.
Nebraska Wing
Purchased Ercoupe 37143 S/N 110 from K.D. Kimmel Capt. C.A.P. for the sum
of
One Dollar and OVC. Thus returning it to the civilian market.

Lots more paperwork with this plane - Just to much to type here.
I have a friend with a scanner maybe he can put the Pictures on disk and
we
can put them here on the list. Or take some negatives to Wal-Mart to put
on
disks thanks for your input on doing this. You must forgive me for not
being
a computer whizz.
