Good morning All:
Yesterday I pulled the prop thru prior to starting the engine and
noticed one weak cylinder. On investigation I found air leaking from the
exhaust.
My engine is an O-200 with 80hrs SMOH spread over 8.5 years. It has
been flown 25hrs in the last month. The oil is Shell 100 (SAE50) with
25hrs on it. To my knowledge nothing has been added to the fuel or oil.
The fuel used for the first 70hrs was 100ll, and the last 10hrs has been
80/87.
Any suggestions, solutions, quick fixes, magic potions, etc. will be
greatly appreciated.
One last point that may make a difference. The coupe was near sea
level the first 65hrs and at 6000 ft the last 15hrs.
Thanks for your help: Maynard Smith, N99843, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
