My thanks to all those who replied so soon to my request for information on the fibreglass replacement nosebowl. Within a few hours of the posting I had six messages in response to my question! I'm leaning heavily towards going with the fibreglass parts for the following reasons: (I feel I have to defend this decision or risk the wrath of the die-hard original fanaticals!) - They're cheaper, they don't appear to crack, and they don't look like the thing they modeled that guy's helmet after in the movie Rocketman. (check it out - same eyeholes!) No offence intended here, I guess I just like the more modern look. A quick up date on my baby: CF-JGW is still in the Hospital for Sick Angels but her prognosis is good; seems we may have found an engine transplant donor - wish us luck! I dropped off all the refurbished interior pieces last Thursday. The restoration is progressing nicely, and although we've given up on aiming for a completion date, we're now cautiously optimistic that we'll have her flying before I croak. (Not that I'm sick or anything, it's just that for a while there things were going pretty slow...) Once again, thanks to everybody. Spike Kavalench
