Someone on this forum (can't remember who) said that spark is less the cluprit with fouled engines than proper leaning.  Well, life is full of compromises. I suggest it is a combination of both.  You cannot  however, get enough spark.  It will get you started faster on cold moisture laden days, and steamy summer afternoons, thereby reducing oil contamination (longer lived engines). My whole point in bringing up the stronger coiled mags., is that they will create a cleaner plug, maintaining the proper cylinder temps, and consequently cleaner engines, especially in the environment of 100 Octane when and if introduced to your engine. Plus the Slicks, as previously mentioned, are 500 hour mags, and their "good deal" is far too much for a mag that typically runs out of steam under extreme conditions.  All mags. decrease in output under sustained heavy loads.  But when you start out low, you don't have far to go to poor performance.
It all boils down to opinions.  But opinions can be quite interesting, when based on fact and experience.  Just my two cents worth, and some obviously may think thats what it's worth.
