I am relatively new to this list. My intention has been to purchase a coupe since my first experience with one a couple of years ago. I've finally located a nice specimen in the form of a 1959 Forney F-1A. 1359 TTAF and 345 SMOH on a C90. I've found the the pre-purchase and annual inspection check lists on the NET and was wondering if anyone knows where I could get the appropriate FAA forms needed to finalize the sale. The most important part of this deal is whether or not the owner (of 30+ years) will actually decide to part with his "baby". When that happens, soon I hope, I will hire my own A&P to perform the inspections before the purchase. I was in the plane today for a "demo" flight and boy, what a sweet little plane!
