Lee's Summit is a great airport run by the city and requires no transponder or radio. It is inside MCI's mode C veil but it is exempted from such nonsense each and every day. The runways are wide and smooooth and the pancakes should be the same.
There are 2 Coupes on the field and mine is 10 minutes away at 3GV. Sad to say, I'm on an extended visit to the land of palm trees and have to fly to places such as Key West and Bahamas until Monday. Maybe even the Burmuda triangle..... <g> Bob U. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ >Denny, I forget if I already mentioned that Lee's Summitt is also having a >Flyin Breakfast on April 24, 99, this Saturday.
