Thankyou to those who responded. I did buy the bushings from skyport and try to rebuild the knee however upon inspection my knee pins did show noticable wear. I also had to ream out the bushings to fit by hand not terribly precise. I also added a zerk fitting to the knee for greasing but the play is still there so perhaps I'll have to start over with new pins. I also have Bellville springs and did add spacers bought at graingers to bring my tail up to proper height due to front nosewheel fork. I must also confess that I have been working on this aircraft for 2 years and still do not have a pilots license. I do like tinkering and have built a Pietenpol also which won an award in 1996 at Arlington WA flyin. any feedback on learning to fly in my own coupe?. This Coupe is in Annual but I want it to be as perfect as my limited finances will allow.
