Well thanks to all who offered suggestions about this operation and how to
jack the Coup up, I helped to do the brake lining replacement on my
Goodyears
this past Saturday....repacked the wheel bearings and replaced a tire
while I
was at it. My A/P was going to finish bleeding them and check their
operation
before sign off.
What the service manual fails to tell you is that unless you also remove
the
caliper assembly bolts and seperate the two halves a bit, you can't get
the
disc out of the way enough to punch out the pucks. Once we figured this
out
the job went fine. Weren't able to bleed them without getting some
fittings so
that will happen this week.
Thanks again for the suggestions. Rob 3040H
