I have a working courier system which lives behind some cisco load balencing kit. In order to perform healthchecks the load balencer has to log into the machines (via pop3 and imap) very regularly (currently every 10 seconds).
This means I have a load of stuff in my syslog that I don't want. I need to either: a) tell the system not to log for a particlar user b) log to somewhere that isn't syslog for IMAP and POP3 auth c) Severely reduce what is logged I *think* I can do this with the LOGGEROPTS but I cannot find any documentation on what you can put in it, what syntax your use etc. Can anyone point me in the direction of some documentation or otherwise advise.
