I've a normal server installation. Maildir is located in my $HOME i
can access from anywhere on the lan.
I'd like now to set it up on a server;
with restricted access for some users to (their) mailboxes (folders)
on the server.
I'm not sure exactly what your looking for but if you mean you want
users to just have email access, no shell then look into setting up
Virtual users via MySQL or LDAP. If you have an existing LDAP server in
your environment (OpenLDAP, MS ActiveDirectory, Novell NDS, etc) then
use that, otherwise, look at setting up MySQL. Virtual users can have
their Maildir located on any mounted volume. Beyond that, what do you
mean by "restricted access". Big picture, what are you trying to do?
